I searched the Internet for ranked lists of the best movies that Edgar Wright directed. Criteria included the movies being ranked, not just listed by date or alphabetically, and generally created by groups, whether teams or committees or based on general public voting (like Ranker.com).

I was able to find 39 lists. I took the 39 lists and added all their content into a spreadsheet, noting the rank of every film. I averaged the rankings each movie got and divided that average by a factor of the number of lists that movie was on. The lowest score meant a high ranking average on many lists. The complete spreadsheet is attached at the bottom.

The movies that were on the most lists (out of 39) were:

  • Shaun of the Dead (2004) – all 39 lists
  • Hot Fuzz (2007) – all 39 lists
  • Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) – all 39 lists
  • The World’s End (2013) – all 39 lists
  • Baby Driver (2017)- 38 lists
