I searched the Internet for lists of the best Bugs Bunny cartoons. Criteria included the cartoons being ranked, not just listed and generally created by groups, whether teams or committees or based on general public voting (like Ranker.com). They also had to consider all the cartoons, not just “my favorites” or “underrated cartoons.”

I found 10 different ranked lists online of “best Bugs Bunny cartoons.” Then I averaged the rankings each cartoon got and divided that average by a factor of the number of lists that cartoon was on. The lowest score meant a high ranking average on many lists. The complete spreadsheet is attached at the bottom.

The cartoons that were on the most lists (out of 10):

  • Rabbit of Seville (1950) – 8 lists
  • Long-Haired Hare (1949) – 8 lists
  • Little Red Riding Rabbit (1944) – 8 lists
  • Baseball Bugs (1946) – 7 lists
  • Rabbit Hood (1949) – 7 lists
  • What’s Opera, Doc? (1957) – 5 lists
  • Rabbit Fire (1951) – 5 lists
  • Hair-Raising Hare (1946) – 5 lists
  • Broom-Stick Bunny (1956) – 5 lists
  • Wackiki Wabbit (1943) – 5 lists
