I was able to find 21 lists of kaiju monsters, ranked by “best” or size or strength. I took the 21 lists and added all their content into a spreadsheet, noting the rank of every creature. There were 58 that were on at least 2 lists. I ended up averaging the rankings each one got and dividing that average by a factor of the number of lists it was on. The lowest score meant a high ranking average on many lists. The complete spreadsheet is attached at the bottom.

The kaiju monsters that were on the most lists (out of 21) were:

  • Godzilla – 19 lists
  • King Ghidorah – 19 lists
  • Mothra – 18 lists
  • Destoroyah – 16 lists
  • King Kong – 16 lists
  • Mechagodzilla – 15 lists
  • Rodan – 14 lists
  • Gigan – 14 lists
