I was able to find 44 lists. I took the 44 lists and added all their content into a spreadsheet, noting the rank of every skyline. I averaged the rankings each one got and dividing that average by a factor of the number of lists it was on. The lowest score meant a high ranking average on many lists. The complete spreadsheet is attached at the bottom.

The castles that were on the most lists (out of 44) were:

  • New York City, NY, USA – 41 lists
  • Dubai, UAE – 39 lists
  • Hong Kong, China – 38 lists
  • Shanghai, China – 32 lists
  • Singapore, Singapore – 32 lists
  • Chicago, IL, USA – 32 lists
