I was able to find 56 lists. I took the 56 lists and added all their content into a spreadsheet, noting the rank of every national park. I ended up averaging the rankings each one got and dividing that average by a factor of the number of lists it was on. The lowest score meant a high ranking average on many lists. The complete spreadsheet is attached at the bottom.

The national parks that were on the most lists (out of 56) were:

  • Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming – 52 lists
  • Yosemite National Park, California – 52 lists
  • Zion National Park, Utah – 48 lists
  • Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona – 47 lists
  • Acadia National Park, Maine – 42 lists
  • Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee/North Carolina – 40 lists
