I searched the Internet for lists of the best Simon Pegg movies of all time. Criteria included the movies being ranked, not just listed by date or alphabetically, and generally created by groups, whether teams or committees or based on general public voting (like Ranker.com).

I was able to find 24 lists of either his roles or his movies. I took the 24 lists and added all their content into a spreadsheet, noting the rank of every film. I ended up averaging the rankings each movie got and dividing that average by a factor of the number of lists that movie was on. The lowest score meant a high ranking average on many lists. The complete spreadsheet is attached at the bottom.

The movies that were on the most lists (out of 24) were:

  • Shaun of the Dead (2004) – all 24 lists
  • Hot Fuzz (2007) – all 24 lists
  • The World’s End (2013) – all 24 lists
  • Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (2015) – 22 lists
  • Paul (2011) – 22 lists
  • Star Trek (2009) – 21 lists
  • Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol (2011) – 21 lists

Here are links to the lists I used along with dates the lists were created:
